Privacy Policy

Overview

Pingable ("we", "our", or "the app") is a Shopify app built by Repeak Media LLC. This policy explains what data we collect when you install and use the app, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Data We Collect

When you install the app, we collect and store:

• Shop domain — your Shopify store URL (e.g. your-store.myshopify.com)
• Access token — a Shopify-issued key that lets us read and, with your permission, update your store data on your behalf
• Store email — used to send you your audit results and weekly digests
• Product data — titles, descriptions, tags, variants, images, SEO fields, and metafields from your Shopify catalog. With Pro plan, we may also write updated product titles and descriptions back to your store when you use the Fix It feature.
• Store policies — your return, shipping, privacy, and terms of service policy text
• Audit scores and recommendations — the results generated by our AI scoring engine

We do not collect customer data, order details, or payment information.

How We Use Your Data

• To analyze your store and generate an Agent Readiness score and recommendations
• To send you audit result emails and weekly score digest emails
• To maintain your audit history so you can track improvement over time
• To apply AI-optimized product rewrites to your store when you use the Fix It feature
• To manage your subscription and billing through Shopify

We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Shopify — to authenticate your store and process billing
• Supabase — to store merchant records and audit data (hosted in the US)
• Anthropic (Claude) — your store data is sent to Claude's API to generate scores, recommendations, and product rewrites. Anthropic does not use API data to train models.
• Resend — to deliver audit result and weekly digest emails
• Railway / Vercel — cloud infrastructure providers that host the app

Data Retention

We retain your store data and audit history for as long as your app is installed. When you uninstall the app, your access token is immediately revoked and cleared. You may request full deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access tokens are stored securely in our database and are never exposed publicly. We follow Shopify's security requirements for app development.
